My family and I moved to Houston from Louisiana in 2014. For the last twenty years I have worked in the oil and gas industry. Some of those jobs included Pump Supervisor, Slickline Operator, MWD Field Engineer, Real-Time Observation Consultant, and Wireline Engineer.
After several industry slow downs, I decided a career change was needed. I began to pursue my Bachelor's in Computer Science at Western Governors University. While attending classes I soon realized that in order for me to better understand the course work, I needed to know how to write code. I then enrolled in DigitalCrafts Full Stack Immersive Bootcamp. While at DigitalCrafts I learned many important skills in several programming languages that helped reinforce the course foundations in my bachelor's program. Upon graduation from DigitalCrafts, I plan to finishing my Bachelor program at WGU before exploring the job market.
Below are my projects that were completed via solo work or as a team project. Some of the languages used included CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and React.
